CENTRE FOR PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION (CEPME LTD)


The centre for Performance and monitoring and Evaluation, now CEPME LTD, is a Ghanaian company established in 2004 to offer support services to the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service as they strategise to implement the Free Compulsory and Universal Basic Education (fCUBE) programme.

We are Experts in the

  • Preparation of Basic School Assessment Materials
  • Preparation of BECE Mock Examinations
  • Provision of In-Service Training for Teachers
  • Evaluation of Educational Projects

OUR VISION

To become a centre of excellence for the provision of training programmes targeting educational practitioners in the West Africa Sub-region to enable them provide a firm educational, emotional and professional growth.

OUR MISSION

  • To achieve its vision, the centre organises in-service training programmes for the educational administrators and basic school teachers
  • Develops diagnostic assessment instruments for assessing academic achievement of pupils
  • Design and implement training programmes for the members of the school management commitee and parents.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • To ensure full coverage of school curriculum for every year.
  • To enhance standards of education in basic schools
  • To improve supervision and monitoring of academic work in basic schools.

The programmes run by CEPEM are managed by the following scholars and practitioners of education:

Prof. Isaac Richard Amuah

An Associate Professor of music education University of Cape Coast

Dr. Kenneth Assamoah-Gyimah

A senior lecturer in educational assessment, Department of Education and Psychology, University of Cape Coast

Ms. Gladys Abagrey

holds a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Cape Coast. She was a tutor at the Tamale Teacher Training College

Elisha Okoe

hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer science from the University of Ghana. He worked in the EMIS unit of the Wassa Amenfi District directorate of education

Kwame Amua-Frimpong

holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Cape Coast.
